Carlo MJ Bracci Devoti - Operations Beverage Director
I was born in San Francisco and had the unique opportunity to grow up in Rome, Italy until the age of 19. My journey in the hospitality industry began at a young age, as I worked behind the counter from the age of 8 due to my Nonnas ownership of a hotel.
Upon moving to London for college, I found a passion for professional bartending and decided to stay to further explore this field. In 2015, I made a life-changing move to San Diego and haven’t looked back since. From the moment I arrived in San Diego, I immersed myself in the industry and quickly climbed the ranks, collaborating with prominent figures in the bar community.
In 2018, I was fortunate enough to secure an investor who shared my vision for a long-held project of mine. This led to the creation of two establishments, Tahona Bar and Oculto 477. Subsequently, my investor launched three more venues – Worm Wood, Botanica, and The Guild Hotel – all of which I am actively involved in on the beverage management side.
