- What are unique characteristics industry in Singapore? What would be the current drinks’ trends in the market?
Singapore is small but sophisticated and trending-setting market. We have brands from all over the world looking to be placed in a very small pool of outlets. Working with Franklin & Sons, we have built relevant market share, placement and respectable volume.
Premiumisation of spirits has ended in Singapore. Many consumers and outlets are down-shifting and managing the total cost of a drink is very important.
- Is there something you’re excited to do with Franklin & Sons this year?
The securing of a global agreement with Accor for it’s luxury properties will further strengthen the position of the brand. While we had already supplied some of these properties in the region, the contract further reinforces Franklin & Sons in the market.
- Where would you say there’s opportunities for the brand?
A constant presence and reasonable pricing are the key to further market expansion.
- In your opinion, what makes a good partnership?
Relevant brand to distributor engagement, and leveraging the strength of the brand between different markets including across regions.
- What’s your favourite Franklin & Sons SKU?
The Franklin & Sons Ginger Beer has captured our local preference for spice which is broadly reflected in our local cuisine.
