Cook Time: 20 mins
INGREDIENTS
- 4 chicken breasts (about 600g)
- 200ml Franklin & Sons Traditional Dandelion & Burdock
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make the Glaze
In a bowl, whisk together the Franklin & Sons Traditional Dandelion & Burdock, garlic, soy sauce and honey until well combined.
2. Season the Chicken
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
3. Cook the Chicken
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 8–9 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Add the Glaze
Lower the heat to medium-low and pour the Franklin & Sons Traditional Dandelion & Burdock glaze over the chicken in the skillet. Allow the chicken to simmer for another 5 minutes, spooning the glaze over the chicken occasionally as it thickens.
5. Serve
Transfer the chicken breasts to a serving platter, keeping the glaze reducing if needed until it is slightly thickened and glossy. Spoon the thickened glaze over the top of the chicken. Garnish with fresh parsley for a touch of colour.
6. Enjoy
Serve the glazed chicken hot with your favourite sides, such as roasted root vegetables, a fluffy bed of rice or a green salad.
Top Tip:
Pair with a chilled glass of Franklin & Sons Traditional Dandelion & Burdock to enhance the earthy flavours in the glaze! This recipe is perfect for a simple family dinner with a unique twist.
