Ever since it was founded by the Franklin brothers more than 130 years ago, Franklin & Sons has always been a brand with passion, simplicity and great taste at its heart. To this day, all the drinks in the range are made naturally and without compromise, meaning they never contain any artificial flavours, sweeteners or preservatives.
You can see Franklin & Sons’ mixers in action in season three of The Three Drinkers, which will be streaming on Prime Video from Thursday 18 May. It features an exciting segment about Franklin & Sons, where drinks experts Aidy Smith and Helena Nicklin show how the brand’s mixers can be paired with a variety of different spirits to create surprising new flavour combinations.
Who are The Three Drinkers?
The perfect TV series for any food and drink lover, The Three Drinkers follows award-winning drinks writers and broadcasters, Aidy Smith and Helena Nicklin, as they take a deep dive into the drinks cultures of various different countries.
Together, they scope out the local food and drink delicacies of each region they visit, all while enjoying plenty of fun activities, from bog snorkelling and eel fishing to cheesemaking and botanical foraging.
The first season saw them take a whisky- fuelled journey through Scotland with fellow drinks expert Colin Hampden-White, while the second was a gastronomic adventure around Ireland, with Irish Camb sommelier Beth Brickenden and travel influencer Eulanda Shead-Osagiede. Now, Aidy and Helena are back for a third season, entitled The Three Drinkers in Cognac, which features Eulanda and a brand-new third drinker: Virgin Radio DJ Eddy Temple-Morris. This time, they’ll be exploring the French region of Cognac and its namesake spirit, while uncovering even more local cultural and culinary highlights.
And, of course, Franklin & Sons will be making an appearance, so you’ll also learn a few new ways to mix your favourite spirits along the way. Don’t miss Franklin & Sons in season three of The Three Drinkers, available on Prime Video from Thursday 18 May.
