Franklin & Sons teams up with hospitality support organisation So Let’s Talk
We are sponsoring several events during mental health awareness week with So Let’s Talk and launching a hospitality support fund.
A staggering half of all hospitality teams experience some form of negative mental health during their career, and with Franklin & Sons continual support as an independent drinks manufacturer who are made by hospitality for hospitality, the brand understands the importance of looking after the pillars of health & mental well-being. By partnering with So Let’s Talk, the brand are bringing the tools for operators within the hospitality industry to be able effectively help their team’s mental well-being and to ultimately #86 the silence.
The brand has also pledged further to support accounts within the on-trade with the launch of its hospitality support fund by offering bespoke 2-hour mental health sessions for their employees and management teams.
Key events across the 3 days, taking place in Manchester, include panel discussions with key industry figureheads and leaders within the northern hospitality industry.

- Monday 15th May, Location: Feel Good Club 5-7pm – Invite-only event – Industry leaders to host a panel discussion on mental health inside hospitality.

James Stimson, senior brand manager at Franklin & Sons: “Franklin & Sons proudly support the movement to bring change and support all the fantastic people working within the hospitality industry. With several team members and me coming from a bartending background, we understand that hospitality really is the most mentally straining industry to work in, with long late hours, and high-pressured shifts it is time for bar owners and managers to provide the tools to support their employees in the best way possible and we are proud to be able to play a small part in that.”
Paddy Howley, co-founder of So Let’s Talk Adds: “Our mission is to 86 the silence! We recognised early on that the support of drinks brands would be key in that mission. Partnering with Franklin & Sons for us just made sense. We can’t wait to create more positive change together.”
